Introduction
Casa da Ãrvore benefits one of the best locations, inside the walls of the medieval village of Marvão. With a very nice classic decoration, the house has 5 double rooms with en-suite bathroom, central heating, 2 sitting-rooms with fire place, TV, breakfast room, CD player, Wi-Fi and a book collection, to our guests disposal.
The terrace where one can enjoy a drink, a book or only overlooking the vastness of a magnificent view to São Mamede´s mountain range, Portagem and Castelo de Vide.
To enjoy fully the “nest of eagles†as Marvão is known and the breathtaking views, a visit to the Castle and the cistern, the donjon, also the museum, walk through the small streets, breathe the pure air, are some of the things to be enjoyed.
In the surrondings a visit to the numerous vestiges from an important history, walk through the trails in the open nature, an unforgatable horseride experience, the green and fresh river pool and all there is close by.
