Welcome at Casa Rural Domingo, a charming Bed & Breakfast in Andalusia!

We are pleased to welcome you in our splendid restored “finca”, in the middle of the Andalusian nature.

The picturesque village of Álora is situated at only 5 minutes by car. Casa Rural Domingo is only a 40 minute drive from Málaga airport and the Costa del Sol.

From the hotel you can enjoy a breathtaking view over the “Valle del Sol”, while you are having your breakfast or taking a swim.

With free WIFI, parking, swimming pool, tennis court, welcome drink with tapas and extensive information as we also represent the tourist office of the region !

Here you can discover the silence and beauty of nature, and enjoy a relaxed family atmosphere. It’s the ideal spot to daydream and to experience a real holiday feeling. A walking holiday never to forget ! Relaxing, sports, culture, culinary... everything is possible!!!

Yves has a lot of experience in adventurous walks. He has walked with small groups in Crete, Ecuador and Canada for a Belgian adventurous travel organisation and is still specialising himself in walking excursions in all the Sierra's you can see from Casa Domingo such as the Sierra de Huma, Sierra Alcaparaín, Sierra de Prieta, Sierra de las Nieves and lots of others.

We have fully described walks with indication of distance/ approximate time and difficulty, e.g.:

Walk round the lake el Gaitanejo with a half hour climb to the saddle where one has a splendid view of the Caminito del Rey in the Gargante del Chorro and where one can see the vultures soaring through the gap.
Three walks in the Sierra de las Nieves. Unique in the world for its Pinsapos, pines which only here have survived the ice age, one goes to the top (1.918m.) of Torrecilla !
Walk in the Alcaparaín mountains with stunning views towards Malaga, the sea and Carratraca.
Walk to Grajo (the top of the Sierra de Alcaparaín) with stunning views towards the sea, the snowy mountains of the Sierra Nevada and Málaga.
Walk through the Sierra de Prieta starting in the beautiful village of Casarabonela
Walk until the foot of the Sierra de Huma where a hidden staircase in the rocks brings you to a beautifull meadow with splendid panoramas.
Walk in the Sierra Blanquilla with its path of beachsand that swings through the trees.
Walk to the castle of Turón with a splendid view on the Sierra de Alcaparaín.
Short walk through the rocky moonlandscape of El Torcal

Walk passing by of all the highlights of our village Álora to the top of El Hacho.
Walk through the fields and crossing a farm to the village of Pizarra from where we reach the Sierra Gibralmora and El Santo.
