Introduction
Nestled in the historic Old Las Palmas neighborhood of Palm Springs, Casa de Monte Vista is one of the original homes built in the late 1920s. Frequented by some of the most legendary luminaries from Hollywood, this Old Spanish Estate has the secluded and nostalgic atmosphere that Palm Springs is known for. Owned by Robert Stack in the 1950s, the property was a common gathering place for The Rat Pack during the 1960s. Casa de Monte Vista is a walled and gated private estate, complete with a “caterer ready†full kitchen, covered patio for dancing, guest casitas, organic herb and vegetable garden, solar powered salt water pool, palatial grounds, lush landscaping and spectacular mountain views. Located just 6 short blocks from downtown Palm Springs. Recently chosen as the location for the Liberace movie “Behind The Candelabra†starring Michael Douglas and Matt Damon, this walled and gated Spanish Estate evokes the essence of old Palm Springs.
