From its opening in December of 1984 to its Grand location in Glendale in 1998, carousel has served its patrons for over 26 years. Our Story begins in the back corner of Hollywood Hye Plaza, where Greg & Rose Tcholakian began their infamous journey in 1984, serving Authentic Home-Style Kebabs, vegetarian specialties and traditional dishes. In 1998 son of Greg & Rose, Mike Tcholakian, opened the grand, more elaborate location in Downtown Glendale, near Alex Theatre, complete with decorative scimitars, an expanded menu and weekend entertainment that includes an Authentic Belly Dance Team.
