Carney Gillespie Isitt PLLP

During his career, Chris Carney has represented over a thousand clients, and has achieved positive results in trials of dozens of criminal and civil cases. Working in cooperation with the Innocence Project Northwest, he has twice helped free innocent people who had spent years in prison for crimes they did not commit. Chris has been practicing law since he graduated from the University of Washington School of Law in 2000.

Kenan Isitt has been a fierce and effective advocate for his clients at every stage of his career. While a student at Seattle University School of Law, he interned at the Society of Counsel Representing Accused Persons, assisting attorneys with legal research for misdemeanors and major felony cases. As one of two managing partners at Ivy Law Group PLLC, he litigated criminal defense and family law cases and helped run all aspects of the firm’s business, including case management, research, and trial preparation. He has been practicing law since he graduated from Seattle University in 2004 and is a founding partner of Carney Gillespie Isitt PLLP.

Sean Gillespie has been fighting for the underprivileged since his days as a student at Seattle University School of Law. As an intern at the Unemployment Law Project, he successfully challenged dozens of employers’ attempts to deny unemployment benefits to low-income people. He started his own law firm fresh out of law school in 2004, dedicating his practice to the representation of indigent clients in criminal defense cases. He has stood up for clients accused of being sexually violent predators, defending them from indefinite detention until their cases were dismissed. He is a founding partner at Carney Gillespie Isitt.
