D&I Caravan Maintenance has been repairing and maintaining caravans since 1965. Ian Davidson was the founder and first owner who ran the company till 1984. Ian then sold the business to Dale Brocchi, who started work with D&I in 1975 as a 16 year old apprentice cabinet maker and went on to run the business for a further 27 years. During that time he employed three apprentices of his own, who all stayed on after their apprenticeships, one of which, Brendan Lewis, started as 16 year old in 1995 and has stayed to the present day.

Dale sold the business to Brendan in 2011 and is still going strong today. Keeping the tradition going, Brendan is now looking for an apprentice of his own. Dale remains working at D&I, for his former apprentice.
