Centrally situated within Hamilton Square, overlooking Hamilton Square Gardens, the Capitol Restaurant occupies a Grade II listed building. Boasting many styles of authentic Chinese paintings and intricate, hand painted decor, the theme of the Capitol is that of a Chinese Art Gallery.
The Restaurant specialises in Canton and Peking Cuisine. Established for nearly 50 years, the last 23 years have seen it carefully nurtured by the Tam family and their dedicated support staff.

Our award winning image has been recognised at both local and national levels, with the achievement of the following awards: Restaurant of the Year (Merseyside), Booker Prize for Excellence, Business of the Year (Wirral), AA Rosette, Chef the Year finalist 2005, Team of the Year 2006 and Taste of Liverpool 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012.
