Introduction
Everyone is talking about Camil's, and Ci Casa, and we are delighted to give you an opportunity to download and browse through our menus below.
We're sure you will find something to suit every palate, and whether you choose to sit on our
beautiful wind-protected alfresco terrace, or to relax in one of the various indoor sections that are invitingly decorated, you will enjoy your visit and return many times.
Start off by sipping a cocktail, or a glass of bubbly, at the stunning black granite bar while you explore Camil's menu. Savour the best Namibian oysters and tapas in town while you try to decide what's next. The oysters are all creatively named? there's the tear drop berry (with a red onion and berry sauce), sue she (with wasabi and ginger), The Three Musketeers (three oysters with various toppings), and many other combinations, together offering something for every palate.
Both unique and conventional cooking methods are used. Try the tasty ceviche dishes, created from a special curing method where the seafood is in a citrus-marinade, or select options that include seared tartare's, various sashimis - tuna, scallop, or salmon, or beef with shitake mushrooms.
Then there are various combinations of bamboo baskets with mouth-watering prawns , or steamed vegetarian rice paper rolls. Main courses include plancha grilled fresh line fish, de-boned petit poisson, beef fillet, Norwegian salmon or prime rib of veal.
At Ci Casa, a pavement, European-style, café resonant of a picturesque crêperie in the heart of a city in Europe, along with an appealing courtyard seating, location and décor, specialities include the variety of crepes, both sweet and savoury, stunning wraps and inventive salads, along with some decadent creations such as the seared burger sandwiched between layers of rosti, or the delicious lamb kebabs.
There's a wide choice of roti wraps or ciabbata roll sandwiches filled with grilled chicken strips with spicy raita and cucumber salsa, smoked trout with apple and herb salad, or an inspiring list of salads that include vitello tonato with green beans and crispy duck with bean sprouts.
An array of tapas is available for the not-too hungry? try the goats cheese aioli and rocket salad crêpe, or one filled with smoked trout and crème fraiche, for example.
Desserts include a mini trio of French pancakes with toppings including nougat and caramelized salted butter, apple and calvados, and a puff pancake with lemon curd - this dish truly captivates the senses and, although devilishly sweet, it's heavenly. The restaurant's array of crêpes wouldn't be complete without the traditional crêpe suzette.
