California Custom Trailers and Power sports began in 1984 when Todd and Karol Messersmith relocated from Twin Falls, Idaho to start one of the first Western States Charmac Trailer dealerships. The Shop began from the beginning as a true family dealership where Todd and Karol solely sold horse trailers and services for many years before growing their business to many more entities. Karol and Todd are still owners and work daily in the dealership, but a few things have changed. Todd isn't the one to sell your trailer and install your break control too.In 1997 California Custom expanded outside of the trailer dealership realm to introduce Polaris ATVS to the Merced area.After 25 years in their Galt Location they decided it was time to expand and moved their dealership to Elk Grove with an amazing Freeway Frontage property and plenty of space to continue to grow and service their customers.Now providing over 8 manufacturers brands of trailers and being one of the largest Polaris Dealerships in Northern California and as of recent becoming a Victory motorcycle dealership, California Custom has developed a name in this community as a Trustworthy Reliable company.Our staff is one of best; educated and helpful.
