CJA Architecture is an independent practice providing direct architectural services to domestic and commercial clients, as well as freelance and short term resource assistance to Architects, Surveyors, Contractors and Real Estate professionals.
Based in Leeds, CJA offers architectural services throughout Yorkshire and the North East. The services provided by CJA can be tailored to match the exact requirements of your project, from an initial feasibility study through to planning and building control drawings and even interior design services such as colour schemes and space planning of bathrooms and kitchens.

Feasibility Studies - these are often an inexpensive way to get an idea of what the possibilities for a site / project are - they can help the client visualise, with the aid of 3D images, what a project will look like.
Planning Applications - preparing planning application drawings and identify what other consultant information is required by other parties and co-ordinate such information.
Building Control Applications - building regulations are often undertaken by the builder or contractor on small domestic projects, such as kitchen extensions. However on larger projects CJA can prepare drawings to be submitted to Building Control for approval.
Interior Design - the interior design should be considered as part of the whole design solution. A basic service would include sample and finishes boards which streamline the task of choosing furnishings and colour schemes for any room.

CJA Architecture only has one employee, Christopher James Aitchison, a qualified architect a member with both the RIBA and ARB. As a result all clients get a friendly, personal and professional service.
CJA Architecture has an expanding network of commercial and domestic clients situated across Yorkshire and the North East.
The practice is managed by Chris Aitchison who has been involved within the industry for many years. Chris Aitchison has gained both much commercial and domestic experience over the years and has worked at high profile practices such as B3 Burgess, Careyjones Architects and most recently Lister Associates.
The practice creates bespoke architectural designs, including ranging from small domestic extensions through to whole office refurbishments. Each project is tailored to each specific site and client requirements.
