C & E Machining

C & E Machining is a light engineering jobbing shop with a fully equipped workshop with CNC machining capabilities e.g. VMC machining centre with a fourth axis it can take jobs up to 1600mm x 600mm, a small CNC lathe with automatic bar feed, large CNC with twin chucks and a 6” bore, a YCM CNC lathe with live tooling 3” bore. We also have the full range of conventional machines such as lathes and milling machines. Our fabrication shop includes conventional and mig welders, saws, bandsaws and a 120 ton punch and shears. C & E Machining can also broach keyways. We also specialize wearing and bearing materials both sales and finished products. We are the Australian agents for D-Glide wearing and bearing materials which is a new high load composite reinforced plastic, this material is used in the sugar industry, mining, off shore drill rigs, hydraulic rams and theme park rides. Modern Engineering are the Australian agents for Novasteen which is also a wearing bearing material. We also sell various friction materials and specialize in the relining of brakes, clutches and discs etc. and have large bonding ovens for this purpose. We cover the range from vintage cars/motor bikes to heavy industry such as drag lines, face shovels, overhead cranes and anything in between.
