Introduction
Buttercup Grill and Bar and Buttercup Kitchen is a family style restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner in a beautiful yet relaxed atmosphere. We are open seven days a week from 6:00 A.M. until 10 P.M.
Come to any of our five Bay Area locations for quality family dining. We serve Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, and we offer a wide variety of American food.
Our large portions, house made soups, and fresh baked goods make us a favorite amongst our guests. We use only the freshest ingredients to make nearly all of our dishes from scratch.
We are well known for our hearty breakfasts and offer an array of delicious three egg omelets, thick Belgian waffles, pancakes, skillets and four different choices of Egg Benedict. Breakfast is served all day.
For lunch, we serve large overstuffed sandwiches, huge fresh salads, and our ever popular burgers. We also offer vegetarian selections. All of our soups are house made, including our delectable baked potato soup.
Our steaks are USDA choice; our slow roasted Prime Rib is tender and succulent, and our fish is always fresh. Pastas and homestyle dishes round out our menu ensuring that we truly have something for everyone, whether you are dining with your family or on business.
We offer a large selection of our menu to-go. Call your nearest location for more information or to place an order.
Buttercup Grill and Bars offer full bars, and have outdoor dining where you can sip a cocktail on one of our beautiful patios. Buttercup Grill offers beer and wine. All of our restaurants offer banquet facilities, so celebrate a special occasion or host a business meeting with us.
Of course, for dessert we have our famous upside down apple walnut pie, which was featured in the Contra Costa Times, with its crunchy candy like glaze of brown sugar and walnuts. We also offer creamy house made cheesecake with blueberry sauce, key lime pie, brownies made with two types of chocolate, and bread pudding studded with raisins and served warm with whiskey sauce.
