Introduction
Bridge Newland Limited has three main specialisms, these are:-
1. Formal insolvency process for corporate businesses;
2. Informal creditor negotiations; &
3. Solvent close down Liquidations.
Our time with regard to our formal corporate insolvency processes is predominantly spent doing pre-pack administrations and creditors voluntary liquidations. However, like most business recovery firms, our fully qualified insolvency practitioner is licensed to also undertake general administrations and company voluntary arrangements.
Our informal creditor negotiations are quite unique, as the majority of our competitors do not offer these services. This generally includes, assistance with seeking repayment plans or getting debts reduced and settled.
Our solvent close down liquidations are the process known as Members Voluntary Liquidation which takes advantage of entrepreneurs tax relief enabling successful businesses to use this process to pay only 10% tax as opposed to 20% tax.

Meet Our Team (2)
Ben Robson
Director
I am one of the youngest, and most dynamic Licensed Insolvency Practitioners, and my drive to help others was very much formed from my own family’s personal experiences of dealing with the devastating effects of insolvency.
When I first set up Bridge Newland, my Business Recovery & Insolvency Company, it was out of a determination to use these early experiences, and the unique insight they gave me, to better advise my clients and to provide a refreshing and very hands-on, personal service, bespoke to each client’s circumstances.
For all clients experiencing company debt, whether they are looking for breathing space, an arm around the shoulder, restructuring or a reality check – whether I am working directly with clients, or in conjunction with their other professional advisors, my ethos is to always to ensure my client’s get:
â–ºThe best possible advice and solutions
â–ºFor the most commercially-minded price (free initial consultations)
â–ºWhilst trying to achieve Business Recovery wherever practically possible
This holds good even if that means no fees for me – as I genuinely believe that building long-lasting relationships is the best way to achieve my long-term goals, which is to be the business recovery & insolvency advisor of choice for professionals - providing a level of service comparable to having an in-house insolvency expert, but without you incurring the cost of maintaining a current knowledge of Insolvency Law, or pay an additional salary.
I feel that it is this way of working which is best for assisting clients but also to assist the professional advisors to retain their clients services (and the fees which go with them).

Within our small team at Bridge Newland, our ethos is always to ensure our clients get:
â–ºThe best possible advice and solutions
â–ºFor the most commercially-minded price (initial consultations are free)
â–ºWith the goal of achieving business recovery wherever practically possible
Our approach is heavily influenced by the personal experiences of our managing director, Ben Robson, whose own family has experienced the effects of company insolvency firsthand. This experience has given Ben a unique insight into the ‘other’ side of insolvency, and enables us to offer directors and their advisors a first class service which is both comprehensive and compassionate.
