Introduction
Our designer Helen Guo has always been deeply passionate about designing wedding dresses. A graduate from London’s Middlesex University with a Bachelor in Womenswear, Helen has worked in the London fashion scene for years and was involved in organising several London Fashion Week. It was there in London that Helen has developed a unique sense for fashion design, combining classical and contemporary styles with unique fabrics to create new designs.
Having worked in the fashion industry for more than a decade, designer Helen Guo first ventured into the wedding industry in 2010. To further pursue her passion in designing wedding dresses, she established her own bridal shop in the heart of Sydney’s bridal hub, Leichhardt in 2015.
She decided to name her bridal shop ‘Blanche Bridal’ to represent her love for the fashion capital of the world, Paris. The name ‘Blanche’ which means 'white' in French stuck with her while she was exploring the romantic streets of Paris, and Helen thought about using the name to represent the femininity and chic style of her brand of dresses ever since, and that dream came true in 2015.
