- BUD Fund
In order to raise the competitiveness of Hong Kong companies in mainland China, the HKSAR government launched the Dedicated Fund on Branding, Upgrading and Domestic Sales (BUD Fund) in 2012. From time being, the Fund has enhanced and the grant has been lifted. The BUD Fund extended to ASEAN and all Free Trade Agreement regions in 2018 and 2020 respectively. Since 9th April, 2020, each eligible enterprise can accept at most HK$4,000,000 from BUD Mainland programme or BUD FTA programme.
- TVP
The Innovation and Technology Commission launched the Technology Voucher Programme (TVP) in Novemember, 2016. The goal of TVP is to help Hong Kong companies to apply technology to improve cometitveness, enhance services and transform the business process. Each eligible Hong Kong company can get HK$ 600,000 TVP funding at most and the ITC accepts applications throughout the year.
- EMF
Export Marketing Fund for Small & Medium Enterprises (SME-EMF) launched in 2001 to help Hong Kong SMEs to promote export. This includes exhibition, business mission, publication advertisement, online promotion, building or upgrading websites and online shops etc. The grant for each application is 50% of the project cost (maximum HK$ 100,000) and the cumulative grant for a company is HK$ 800,000.
- ReTAAS
ReTAAS stands for “Retail Technology Adoption Assistance Scheme for Manpower Demand Managementâ€. It is a HKSAR government fund to help the retail companies to apply manpower management technology to increase productivity. The Hong Kong Productivity Council is the ReTAAS Secretariat.
