Introduction
Bird On A Wire celebrates the tradition of the classic neighborhood chicken shop, and is hallmarked by its commitment to nutritious ingredients and ethical sourcing. The concept is founded and run by three young and creative friends who wanted to offer a sustainable, healthy, accessible and delicious offering. Using organic and local produce whenever possible, the menu features free-range rotisserie chicken and nutritious soups, salads and sides, which guests can buy to-go or dine-in. Bird On A Wire has a robust catering service that can be tailored for events of any size, from boardroom breakfasts to wedding banquets. In addition to the Ponsonby flagship, Bird On A Wire also has a 40-seat Takapuna location as well as two Downtown kiosks, Box of Bird.
