Better Boating Co welcome you to their family run business established in 1971. Set on a beautiful stretch of the Thames in Caversham, Better Boating offers a full range of marine services and facilities:-
MOORING (permanent and temporary)
We have secure permanent and temporary moorings on our beautiful mid Thames location in Caversham, just outside Reading.
We have facilities for cruisers, narrow boats and wide beams.
We have a secure gated car park and provide winter hard standing for all permanent berths.

MAINTENANCE/YARDWORK/REPAIRS/RESTORATION
Better Boating undertake minor reconditions through to full restorations.
We offer engineering services, antifouling and blacking.
CRANING
At Better Boating, we can crane up to 20 tonnes (Narrow boats up to 65')
We have access for low loaders / articulated vehicles and boat transportation can be arranged. Hard standing available.
Lift and hold for survey / prop fouling etc. Engine removal. Fully insured. We are in a central position on the River Thames with easy access to the Kennet & Avon Canal.
