Introduction
Imagine staying in a real 1809 Civil War farmhouse on a beautiful 30 acre nature preserve on the Gettysburg Battlefield behind Big Round Top. This 10 room independently owned inn has a mission to cater with enthusiasm and style to the needs of history travelers, families, and travelers with dogs. We gracefully balance the needs of romantic couples with families and travelers with pets. We have three common rooms, spacious lawns, and nature trails. Our guest rooms all have private baths. Most have beds for three or four guests. An overnight stay includes a delicious full breakfast and a morning Civil War history presentation. We have converted our Civil War barn into an event space for receptions up to 140 guests. We host weddings and wedding receptions. With 30 acres, we have plenty of parking, nature trails, privacy and natural beauty. Enjoy the history and the hospitality.
