Sri Lanka - PERADENIYA AND KANDY TEMPLE - Azooki

Morning:

Your tour guide will come and pick you up and depart for Kandy. Visit Peradeniya Botanical Garden. The garden is renowned for its collection of a variety of orchids and includes more than 4000 species of plants namely: orchids, spices, medicinal plants and palm trees. Lunch at a local restaurant



Afternoon:

Visit the Sacred Kandy Temple or Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic in Kandy. This temple was established to honour the relic of the founder of Buddhism. Since ancient times, the tooth relic has played an important role in local politics because it is believed that whoever holds the relic holds the governance of the country. Kandy was the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings and is now a UNESCO world heritage site. Head back to your hotel.

Laos - KUANG XI WATERFALL INSIGHT - Azooki

Visit Khmu villagers, enter Tham Pui Cave and relax clear water of Kuang Xi Waterfall.

Morning:

Drive for around one hour west to Ban Xeng Mouk village where the trek starts.

We begin with a visit to the ethnic Khmu village of Ban Longlao Nung before heading to the nearby Hmong village of Ban Longlao Song. You will be able to observe the lifestyles of these two culturally very different minority groups and see how (despite their differences) they manage to work together on a daily basis and even sharing the same school.

As we continue onwards the trail leads through rice and vegetable fields before reaching the mountainous forest. Along the way we explore a cave which was used as a bomb shelter by the locals during the second Indochina War.

After visiting the cave one more hour of trekking brings us to one of the many springs which feeds Kuang Xi Waterfalls, beautiful selection of sacred fish can be seen. After descending from the top of the waterfall we enjoy a Lao-style lunch with beautiful surroundings.



Afternoon:

The afternoon is spent bathing and relaxing around the turquoise pool below the waterfall. You can also visit the bear conservation center which is located nearby and home to many bears which have been rescued from poachers.

Before returning to Luang Prabang we take a short walk to a nearby Khmu village of Ban Thapene which is home to some of the most beautiful pools of Kuang Xi Waterfalls.

Thailand - CANAL TOUR - Azooki

Ride long-tailed boat and cruise along the Bangkok canals and visit Wat Arun.

Just across the river from Bangkok, the khlongs of Thonburi offer a glimpse into a slower pace of life. Travel By motor Launch or long-tailed speed boat (a private James bond boat) to see the scenic family homes and temples along the water ways which gives this city the name 'Venice of the east Along the way”. Canal is a place where children throw food to fishes , jumping to swim, and boat vendors high way to reach consumers who live on the bank of river or canal.

During the trip, we will have a stop over at Wat Arun to see the biggest prang in Thailand, Khmer-style tower. It is used to house the Emerald Buddha image. There will be an ample opportunity to take photos of the magnificent multicoloured porcelain-studded towers. Spend time to climb up the Prang to have a view of old Bangkok from the top. See the Grand Palace , reclining Buddha temple, Wat Kallaya, Vichaiprasit fortress and other old memorial historic places.
