Autism Pediatric Therapy & Learning Center is the premier provider of applied behavior analysis (ABA) serves children with autism in the South Houston area. Our locally owned and directed therapy and treatment facility provides both one to one and group training for children with autism, downs syndrome, learning disabilities, reading disabilities, behavior problems, and ADD. Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques are implemented to improve functioning skills related to speech, self-care, daily living abilities, social skills, academic skills, and more. Our executive director is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) that oversees all services and programs. She has over 23 years of experience, and was one of the first of a handful of individuals to become a certified behavior analyst for children with autism in all of Texas. Many of her previous clients are now successfully integrated into typical educational settings at partial or full inclusion levels. Our therapy care centers serve children from the ages of 18 months to 17 years old. We have on- site options to receive Speech Therapy (SLP), Occupational Therapy (OT), and Physical Therapy (PT) available at select locations. Our staff is extremely warm, caring, friendly, highly trained and supervised. Our early childhood Intervention (ECI) program teaches language, motor and social skills utilizing a "gentle teaching approach" unlike other training centers. Only empirically proven methods of intervention and progress analysis are employed. We also offer after-school programs and activities to help with homework, math tutoring, reading instruction, handwriting, and keyboarding skills. After school sessions include plenty of opportunities for socialization as well as academic and behavioral training.
