Introduction
Adelaide is home to Australia’s largest solar rooftop project, constructed on the rooftop of the Goyder Pavilion, the centerpiece of the Adelaide Showgrounds. The $8 million solar project covers 10,000 square meters of solar panels, generating up and above 1,400 mega-watt-hours (MWh) of clean solar power. In laymen terms, the solar panels produce enough electricity to power 200 South Australian homes.
