Atrial Fibrillation Institute

The AFib Institute provides access to advanced medical services for patients with AF and the community of family members, referring doctors and professionals that support them. The Institute consists of the largest and most experienced group of Electrophysiologists – (Heart Rhythm Cardiologists), along with the extensive team of Cardiologists practicing in multiple locations across Queensland. Our sites include full diagnostic, treatment and monitoring services.  

We have partnerships with preferred private hospitals, and access to cardiac operating theatres (Electrophysiology Laboratories) equipped with the most advanced technologies in the Southern Hemisphere. Our focus is on looking after our AF patients first; and in addition, our team contribute to ongoing education for our referrers and community, participate in research and advocacy for patients with AF. 

The Atrial Fibrillation Institute has been proudly established within Queensland Cardiovascular Group, recognising the vast experience and expertise in managing patients with Atrial Fibrillation.
