Athos Restaurant is the Capital District's only restaurant, devoted to serving Classic Greek Cuisine. Greek cuisine is extremely diverse in its ingredients, seasonings and flavors. The mixture of Turkish, Balkan, and Venetian influences all come together in Greek cuisine. At Athos, we have created a menu featuring classic Greek dishes. Chef Harry, who has been featured in Gourmet magazine, and whose restaurant (Ithaka) in Manhattan has received an excellent rating with Zagats, uses recipes passed down from generations of Greek cooks and bakers.
