About CLAT
Common Law Admission Test or CLAT is a two-hour long examination of 200 marks (with negative marking). It consists of multiple-choice questions on English, general knowledge, legal aptitude, logical reasoning and numerical ability.
Eligibility for the Undergraduate Program of CLAT
Passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum of (i) 45% marks in case of candidates belonging to General/OBC/Especially abled persons categories and (ii) 40% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category. A candidate appearing in the qualifying examination in March/April 2017 is also eligible to apply.
