Introduction
Artisans Collective CIC is a community based group of local Artists, Artisans, Craftspeople and Small Businesses in Prestatyn North Wales, UK.
Our Community Interest Company was formed to showcase and share our talents and encourage promotion of our products and abilities within our local community, whilst also using those skills and talents to benefit others and providing fully serviced, affordable space for small businesses. One of our aim’s is to help people gain long term sustainable employment locally, by sharing, skills, knowledge and experience.
During the recent Totally Locally Prestatyn Campaign the Talented Local Crafters Group of Prestatyn have been instrumental in the success of the town in raising its profile locally and nationally during the campaign.
We wish to continue supporting and helping raise awareness of all our area has to offer and have worked closely with the Town’s Business Forum, Prestatyn Town, and Denbighshire County councils, Denbighshire Voluntary Services Council, Business Wales and others during the formation and development of this social enterprise.
Over the last Quarter of 2013 we will be announcing news of a more permanent location for our activities both as retail and gallery (Oriel ) space. Meanwhile we are working on projects and events locally including Halloween and Festive season events in Prestatyn.

Peter Harrison
Business Development
Peter Harrison, a time-served engineer, who has been involved in business development since returning to the UK in 1986 after a spell in the Middle East as a hospital engineer.
Between 1992 and 2009 Pete ran his own very successful racing team and has many race wins and championships to his credit, having raced at most of the major European circuits.
Since moving to Prestatyn at the start of 2013 he has been an active member of the artisan movement local via his involvement with his wife’s local craft interest Sutton Soap spearheading the totally locally campaign by helping with the weekly events and helping organising an Artisan Festival at Vaynol all on a volunteer basis.
