Angelou's Mexican Grill (formerly Angelou's Cafe & Grill) serves a variety of delicious dishes for breakfast and lunch. Our menu includes Mexican, American, and other international flavors. Our customers' favorites include our exquisite Enchiladas and our Shrimp Alfredo Pasta. All our dishes have homemade flavors and we proudly provide a weekly menu. Additionally, we specialize in catering for corporate and special events.
Angelou's also stays open till 3:00am on Friday and Saturday to accomodate the hungry weekend downtown nightlife in San Jose. Angelou's Mexican Grill is owned and operated by Teresa and Sergio Lopez. Together, they have 15 years of experience in the restaurant industry. "Our lifelong dream was always to open our own little restaurant where we could share our great recipes with our customers," Teresa says. Their dream finally became a reality in January 2007 when they first opened the doors to Angelou's Cafe & Grill. Teresa, Sergio, and their staff work hard and strive to provide not only delicious food but extraordinary service.
Angelou's Mexican Grill celebrated it's one-year anniversary in January 2008 with an instant raffle where customers won a variety of prizes from a free entree to a free catering service. Angelou's continues to provide customers, whether it's the ocassional passerby or their daily regulars, with its delicious, hearty, homemade meals.
