Allergen Awareness

Each year, there are approximately 200,000 emergency department visits with nearly 10,000 hospitalizations across the United State of America because of food allergies. In fact, the Food and Drug Administration(FDA) say that millions of Americans have allergic reactions to food, but most food allergies that are experienced cause relatively mild and minor symptoms. With that said, some food allergies can cause incredibly severe reactions, meaning that they could be life threatening. There is no known cure for food allergies, although there is natural medicine that is up and coming.
