Overall, 33 years experience as a licensed addictions counselor, with 35 years of personal recovery. 24 years as Director of Loyola University Maryland’s Alcohol and Drug Education and Support Services, administering Alcohol and Drug Abuse Harm Reduction Education Program, provision of intervention, evaluation and referral and counseling services, and directing State certified on campus Outpatient Treatment Program. Affiliate Professor, Psychology Department, Loyola University, MD, teaching graduate course in addictions for 22 years. Director of treatment for two residential addiction treatment programs for four years, and chief substance abuse counselor and program coordinator of Sheppard Pratt Hospital’s residential chemical dependency treatment program for four years. MS in Pastoral Counseling. Member of licensed clinical professional counselors of Maryland, and a clinical alcohol and drug counselor (LCADC) licensed by the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, Maryland Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists (LCA #280).
