About Us:
When our family took over Afterthoughts as its second owners in 2012, we inherited the precious recipes for your favourite gourmet desserts.
Since then, we have moved the Abbotsford BC café to a new and larger location, and have added our own popular recipes to the mix.
Afterthoughts is the gourmet dessert restaurant where folks gather. It’s where conversations and celebrations happen.
Couples visit every year on their anniversary for their special desserts. People keep coming back because our consistent and delicious flavours are what your mouth remembers.
What you can expect:
Nearly everything we serve at Afterthoughts is made with love in-house: never delivered frozen from a factory.
We bring in gluten-free treats for our celiac guests, but everything else comes from our commercial on-site kitchen and from our hearts.
From old favourites to new flavours, there’s always something fun to try (even Keto treats!).
Eat dessert first, but have lunch too! We offer freshly made sandwiches, quiches, wraps, salads and soups, alongside your favourite café beverages featuring beans roasted locally by Clearbook Coffee Company.
We are so proud of our cafe’s attractive new space. The beautiful, spacious, central location includes a party and meeting room to host your private occasion. Outside, we offer ample parking and an inviting heated patio for enjoying your treats while catching up with friends and family.
With newly expanded hours, we are passionate about delivering unparalleled quality, taste, and experience. We hire local staff and give generously to our community.
