African Spirit Game Lodge

African Spirit Game Lodge invites guests to experience true luxury and warm African hospitality. We are one of many privately owned lodges within a Game Reserve of 24 000 hectares. The Zululand Game Reserve received international recognition for the introduction of 28 black rhino in 2005. The reserve hosts the BIG 5, over 70 mammal species and a diverse bird life of over 450 species.
African Spirit Game Lodge is situated 12 km’s west of Mkuze, Kwa- Zulu Natal, South Africa within the Zululand Rhino Reserve, against the backdrop of the Lebombo Mountains.
Guests can spend time relaxing in their own privacy or indulge in any of the activities and excursions we offer in our area. We pride ourselves to offer our guests personal attention and service
We prepare traditional South African cooked meals .We have a beautiful pool area for guests that prefer to lounge around the lodge and we have plenty of action packed excursions in the area for the adventurous visitor. There is plenty of opportunities to make lasting memories in terms of photography. The area also offer deep sea fishing, tiger fishing, scuba diving, turtle tours, whale watching, wildlife interaction, exploring the Zulu culture, horse riding, spa's, boat cruises, golf, hiking, biking, scenic flights, game drives etc. We have something for everyone..
African Spirit Game Lodge accommodation is intimate and consists of 4 quaint, fully serviced chalets. Each comfortable and stylish chalet accommodates 2 people with an en-suit bathroom, air-conditioner, mini bar, ceiling fan, mosquito nets, tea and coffee facilities. The paths are well-lit and connect the chalets to the main lodge. Please note: There are no TV's in the chalets.
We have two self-catering units to choose from:
Idube – 6 – 8 sleeper
Our self- catering, 3 bedroom unit has a spacious comfortable lounge area with a separate dining area, fully equipped open plan kitchen with electric stove, microwave oven and fridge/freezer. All linen, bedding, bath towels, toilet paper, kitchen utensils, crockery and a limited quantity of fire wood is supplied. It has its own outside barbeque area. Please bring own swimming towels, toiletries, charcoal and firelighters. Easy view channels are available. Please bring own card and decoder for full DSTV.

Intibane – 4 sleeper
This unit has two bedrooms with twin beds and an en-suite bathroom (shower only) It consists of a fully equipped open-plan kitchen/lounge with satellite TV (easy view channels only. Please bring own card and decoder for full DSTV) All linen, bedding, toilet paper and towels are provided. It also has its own barbeque area. A limited amount of firewood is provided, after that you have the option of buying from us. Please bring your own swimming towels, toiletries, charcoal and firelighters.

Please note: All overnight visitors will be charged a Conservation Entrance Fee of R50.00 per vehicle and R40.00 per occupant (children under the age of 12 years excluded)
