Kiley Berry, OD
Optometrist
Dr. Kiley Berry grew up in West Virginia before moving to North Carolina for her undergraduate education. Dr. Berry received her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Mars Hill College in 2004 and her Doctorate of Optometry in 2008 from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. The following year, she began her career with Indian Health Services and completed a residency in primary care optometry at the Northern Navajo Medical Center in Shiprock, NM. Before moving to Durango, Dr. Berry was practicing at the Zuni Indian Hospital and played an instrumental role in developing a new optometry residency program as the program director. She specializes in contact lens fitting, dry eye treatment, glaucoma management, ocular disease, and pediatric optometry.
Along with her dog Rayford, Dr. Berry enjoys mountain biking, hiking and cross country skiing. She also enjoys downhill skiing, as well as, modern and hip-hop dance. Dr. Berry is an active member of the American Optometric Association, Colorado Optometric Association, Durango Business Association and the Durango Diplomats.

Lee Ann Hoven, OD
Optometrist
Dr. Hoven was born and raised in Kansas. She attended the University of Kansas for her undergraduate studies and received her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston, College of Optometry. Throughout the next 20 years, she opened and practiced at three offices in the Houston area. She was an active member of the Executive Council as well as the Advisory Council for Texas State Optical. Dr. Hoven moved to Durango in 2008 and is the owner of Advanced EyeCare. She is a member of the Colorado Optometric Association as well as the American Optometric Association. She is also active with the Durango High Noon Rotary Club.
Dr. Hoven and her husband, Dan, have two children, Madison and Grant. Aside from many school and sports activities, they enjoy outdoor activities such as skiing, hiking, biking, and tennis. Dr. Hoven specializes in contact lens fitting, dry eye syndrome, ocular medical conditions, and glaucoma management.

Mark Rahner, OD
Optometrist
Dr. Rahner was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He attended Loyola Academy in Wilmette, IL. He played varsity baseball and basketball at the Academy. Dr. Rahner's father worked as an actor for WGN in Chicago for 30 years. His acting career included various live children's television shows, industrial movies, plays, and movies. Dr. Rahner received his Bachelors of Science degree at the University of Colorado in Biology. He completed his doctorate degree at Pacific University College of Optometry. Dr. Rahner started his practice in Durango in 1976. He opened a second office in Pagosa Springs in 1977. He worked as a contract optometrist for the Indian Health Service in Ignacio, Towaoc, Shiprock, and Kayenta from 1977 to 1990.
Dr. Rahner was the Safety Service Chairman for the American Red Cross of La Plata County from 1976 to 1982.
In 1980, Dr. Rahner was awarded the Young Optometrist of the year award by the Colorado Optometric Association.
Dr. Rahner started the La Plata County Eye and Ear Program with Bob Tyner in 1981. Dr. Rahner was a board member for the Colorado Optometric Association from 1980 to 1984. He has been a member of the Colorado Optometric Association since 1974. Dr. Rahner and his office were awarded the Spirit of Durango award for his contributions to the community for his community service. Dr. Rahner has been directly involved with the Soup Kitchen, Salvation Army, Cancer Society, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, the Boys and Girls Club, and youth baseball and basketball. Dr. Rahner coached both youth baseball and basketball in from 1992 to 1998.
Dr. Rahner has been married to his wife Leslie since 1971. He has one son, Troy, who is an optician and lives in Colorado Springs.Dr. Rahner's interests include: skiing, fly fishing, hiking, biking, tennis, golf, scuba diving, horseback riding, and travel.

Dr. Susannah Standal moved to Durango from Naples, Florida in September 2003.
Dr. Standal received her Bachelors' Degree in Biology from Stetson University and Doctor of Optometry from Nova Southeastern University in Florida. She specializes in glaucoma management, corneal refractive therapy (CRT), dry eye therapy, and contact lenses.
Dr. Standal is married to Mike, a software engineer at AutoSol. They have an energetic little boy named Zak and enjoy skiing, hiking, mountain biking and camping and have even given fly fishing a try. Dr. Standal is an active member of New Hope Church and also belongs to the Women's Resource Center, The Colorado Optometric Association, and The American Optometric Association.
