Access Ecology Ltd can provide services across the whole of the UK, and has the capacity needed to respond to larger projects, whilst still providing a very individual service to smaller clients.
In addition to skilled and experienced staff, Access Ecology Ltd utilises the expertise of a network of specialist subcontracting ecologists covering the full scope of ecological disciplines, producing the highest quality work for each individual clients.
With a team of highly experienced ecological consultants, Access Ecology staff are all members of CIEEM.
The company is owned by Nick Bonsall who has been involved in the Ecological Consultancy sector for many years. Having previously worked for several consultancies, Nick Bonsall has developed a high level of knowledge and experience across the whole spectrum of ecological projects. Nick is also vice-chair of the South Yorkshire Bat Group
Access Ecology has accumulated network of clients, located throughout the UK, including local councils, developers, homeowners and in the voluntary sector.
The company provides a bespoke service for individual clients to ensure that all needs are met on a specific project. Access Ecology specialise in protected species surveys, licensing and mitigation and hold the necessary licences for such work.
Access Ecology pride themselves on carrying projects through from inception to completion (design - planning – licensing – construction – post-development monitoring) and are able to provide this service due to the experience of the team and through effective liaison with both the client and statutory and conservation bodies.
As well as providing surveys, licencing and mitigation for all protected species Access Ecology can provide pull vegetation classification and habitat surveys, produce nature conservation management plans, data analysis services, anabat hire and GIS wildlife alert layers.
