ANUDIP FOUNDATION

The non-profit Anudip Foundation works towards transforming the lives of people from socially disadvantageous groups such as tribals, religious minorities, political refugees, reformed insurgents, persons with disabilities, impoverished families, and the victims of social upheavals and trafficking among others. It does so by training the youth and women from these groups in industry relevant skills, especially in the field of Information Technology. Since its inception in 2007, Anudip has been able to train and empower more than 85,000 youth, in the process, touching the lives of more than 425,000 socially disadvantaged people through its unique technology-driven initiative.

Anudip offers a unique combination of technology skills and workplace readiness backed by career opportunities thereby enabling youth-aspirants to earn sustainable wages, augment their family incomes, and derive long term benefits of working in a structured environment. Anudip, with its headquarters in Kolkata, has its footprints in 9 Indian States besides New Orleans in the USA. Its partners are the who’s who of industry and business such as the America India Foundation (AIF), Capgemini, Accenture, Michael and Susan Dell Foundation (MSDF), Microsoft, Google, Citi, HSBC, NetHope, Cisco, the Tata Group, ITC, Omidyar Network, and ICRA. Anudip maintains an elaborate industry interface and helps companies such as Tata Consultancy Services, Walmart, iMerit Technologies, Flipkart, Spencers, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Neilson, Vodafone and many others to fulfill their CSR objectives.

Feted with many awards notably by the Indian Chambers of Commerce, Skills Development Corporation of India and others, Anudip is recognized globally for its stellar achievements.
