Whether it’s your utility rates and health care costs or transportation and housing options, AARP Vermont is on the job to help protect the interests of those 50 plus – with local officials, community organizations and in the Vermont Statehouse. What we do:
- Advocate for fair utilities rates, transportation options, health care, fraud prevention, heating assistance.
- Help Vermont communities become more livable and age friendly – mobility, housing, and community engagement
- Educate members and the 50 plus on new laws, consumer fraud and scams, retirement planning, community service, and personal growth.
- Community service through volunteer based AARP Foundation Tax-Aide and Driver Safety programs as well as public outreach.
