In order for fences to meet the Australian Standards, they must be at least 1200mm in height and any gaps, including below and between panels, must be a maximum of 100mm. The top of the fence line must be 900mm away from any climbable object outside the fence. The gate must swing away from the pool and be self-closing. The gate latch must be mounted on the pool side.
When correctly installed your A1 Glass pool fence will meet the requirements of the following Australian Standards: AS 1926 – Swimming Pool Barriers, and AS/NZ 2208 – Safety Glass Manufacturing.
