Introduction
The Flower Drum was established in 1978 by Mr George Li in the early days of Chinese cuisine in the UK. Now under the management of Mr Li's son Wai Ming, the restaurant holds it's position as Watford's premier Chinese restaurant.
We are offering the tradition of serving top quality authentic Chinese cuisine. The Aromatic Crispy Duck and Lamb are house specialities and the menu includes all the classics such as Sweet and Sour King Prawns as well as dishes for the more adventurous - the Manchurian Lamb with a Spicy Soya Dip comes highly recommended as do the Sizzling Dishes served on hot iron plates. Vegetarians are well catered for - for example our Bean Curd with Chinese Mushrooms and Bamboo Shoots. Quality and freshness of ingredients are at the heart of the Flower Drum's cooking.
Within a few minutes walking distance from the Harlequin shopping center, the restaurant is a busy lunchtime destination for local business people and shoppers while in the evenings the ambience is suited for both intimate meals and larger parties.
All the town center car parks are within walking distance, the closest being the Church car park.
