In 2008 Tim left his full time ballooning job in Temecula California and started his own company flying the foothills of the Sierras. Tim is and always has been a safety-first instructor and pilot and has taken thousands of people flying without injury. Any other pilots flying for Tim's company have undergone extensive training and are also safety first pilots with accident free records. Sky Drifters offers scenic balloon rides at our location 30 minutes east of Sacramento. Flights are at sunrise and just before sunset. We fly year-round (weather permitting).
