Texas Swim Academy began in 2004 as a home based business in the Katy Area providing infant water survival training. In 2004 Kathleen McMordie formed the company after receiving extensive in-water and academic training to teach infant aquatic survival. The training she received enabled her to safely and effectively teach infants toddlers and pre-schoolers skills that could save their lives. We offer private and semi-private swim lessons in the comfort and convenience of your own home or at one of our own pools. Our certified swim instructors are proud to serve the Woodland Hills Calabasas Agoura Westlake Thousand Oaks Camarillo and Ventura areas. Our experienced instructors will teach your child to swim using our proven building block method. The teacher will assess the child's skill level at the beginning of the first class and build upon that child's skills progressively until they learn how to swim.
