School House Bees roots are founded in Morning View Kentucky beginning in 1975. Ron Spille moved here to farm fruits and vegetables. To enhance his crop yield Ron became a beekeeper. Over the years Ron developed the business from providing friends and family with pure local honey to being a provider to local regional and national food retailers. By 2007 Carrie and Ron Spille had developed relationships with other regional beekeepers to keep the honey flowing and now Spille’s Honey is available in over 700 retail locations.
