Established from the peripheral blood of a 6-month-old girl with acute megakaryoblastic leukemia (AML M7) at diagnosis in 1987; subline of the growth factor-independent cell line M-07; M-07e cells respond proliferatively to GM-CSF IFN-alpha IFN-beta IFN-gamma IL-2 IL-3 IL-4 IL-6 IL-15 NGF SCF TNF-alpha TPO; we have noted that the cell line can become very quickly cytokine-independent (within 3-4 weeks) presumably due to outgrowth of independent cells.... read more
