In 1969 William James began producing oil free air compressors under the trade name Aeroflow Industries. Within a few short years the Aeroflow compressor line gained a reputation for quality longevity and dependability a reputation that is maintained by Hycomp today. Oil free gas compressors were added to Aeroflow’s existing product line in 1977 and two years later Aeroflow was chosen to build four units for the Susquehanna Nuclear Power Station.
