Coatec India was established in the year 1992. Established in the city of Chandigarh it shifted to Mohali in 1995 and then added a much larger manufacturing facility in 2008 at Kurali. In the year 2000 Coatec went on to design manufacture and supply India's first small ECOAT SYSTEMfor the SME segment. In 2006 Coatec supplied the then largest CED coating plant in JOBWORK segment to Integrated Engineers Pune with a tank capacity of 27000 liters.
