Sorrento’s Restaurant began back in 1974 when Vince Palazzolo then owner of a pizza place wanted to get out of the pizza business and out of the city. Looking west he found a restaurant that was for sale named Kendall’s Ranch. Kendall’s Ranch had been a successful restaurant for over 30 years. Vince bought the restaurant and changed the name to Sorrento’s Ranch. Sorrento’s wasn’t a success right off the bat with its heavy reliance to pastas and Italian dishes.
