instaMek’s story began over a year ago when our co-founders Asem Alsaadi and Uzair Ahmed recognized obvious problems in the traditional automotive repair industry including inconvenience expensive towing and repair bills and a lack of trust among consumers. When Uzair’s mom ran into car trouble at home she faced many challenges while trying to get her car repaired. She tried hiring mechanics through online classified ads but they never showed up.
