Alexa Bolles
Founder and Event Planner
Alexa handles all levels of planning, specializing in producing multi-day celebrations and destination events that reflect the unique needs of each client and location. She emphasizes the importance of establishing a distinct and personal relationship with each client to ensure the full potential of the couple’s vision is realized. All of her clients share an appreciation for her incomparable work ethic, honesty, and the ability to create and execute a flawless event.
Alexa's background in corporate business and planning has given her the perfect blend of organizational skills and creativity needed to execute an event of any size. Originally from the US, Alexa is now a full time resident of Nosara.

Rev. Karen Haskin
Founder and Officiate
Karen's eclectic education and work background, has contributed to making her both flexible and creative. In addition to being a professional artist she was ordained as a minister and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Natural Theology and Sacred Healing. For close to 30 years, she has conducted an independent health and wellness practice; and, created and officiated meaningful and personal Ceremonies of all kinds. Karen moved to Nosara, Costa Rica in 1993 with her husband.
Karen's personal passions continue to be connecting with people and artistic exploration and creation. She is often told that she has a calming demeanor and a sensitivity to others, which comes from both the healing practice and the ceremonies she has shared with others. Karen relies on all of her experiences and training to assists her in the adventure of creating a wedding or event that is extra – ordinary and always memorable.
Karen's personal passions continue to be connecting with people and artistic exploration and creation. Yohanka Gonzalez
Partner, Event Planner, Officiate
Yohanka graduated from Law School in San Jose, Costa Rica in 2003. Two years later she opened her own Firm with a few friends/colleagues where they covered just about every aspect pertaining to the law. Tired of the rush and demands of the city, Yohanka moved to Nosara in 2010 with her husband and daughter to enjoy a more natural, serene and family orientated lifestyle. After having officiated many weddings for friends and clients and having seen the incredible and surreal beauty that the beaches of Nosara had to offer she looked to be in touch with her creative side, combine that with her background and put a new twist on her career, which comes in the form of Weddings Nosara.
Having lived in Costa Rica for the last 11 years, Yohanka has come to understand the subtle nuances of the culture and knows how to deal with people and institutions. This combined with her exceptional attention to detail and fluency in both Spanish and English makes her an asset to the team.
