Reflect CKD is a Martial Arts' School. teaching Choi Kwang Do - an holisitc Martial Art for all ages and abilities. Choi Kwang Do (CKD) is a modern, scientific Martial Art. CKD’s natural, sequential movements maximise your body’s force producing capabilities, but more importantly, they increase opportunities to enhance your health and wellbeing.
Choi Kwang-Do is a unique Martial Art based on modern scientific principles and has been developed to promote optimum health, fitness and self-defence. CKD’s system is founded on the principles that its self-defence techniques should generate maximum force, be practical, enhance the student’s health as they practice, as well as developing mental and physical conditioning.
As a Martial Art, Choi Kwang Do is meant for all, both adults and children alike, who want to learn real-life, practical self-defence skills whilst achieving a greater level of health and well-being. As Choi Kwang Do is a non-contact, non-fighting and non-competitive martial art, in teaching it we aim to improve and enhance the practitioners’ mental, physical, emotional and social development. With Guiding principles and pledges to help focus students, Choi Kwang Do promotes non-violent resolutions to conflict where possible, practical solutions to cardiovascular improvement and enjoyable methods of exercise. With a progressive system from White Belt to the highest level of 9th Degree Black Belt, Choi Kwang Do always offers something new and challenging to learn, experience and enjoy.
