When you're looking for a driving instructor in the Downpatrick area, the very first thing you must do is make sure they have been approved by the DOE. This is vital, if they're not, then not only are they breaking the law but there's a good chance the car won't be insured properly and you'll be throwing away your hard earned cash on poor teaching methods. I always have my ADI license on display so you can be sure I'm approved.
During your driving lessons I'll always keep notes on your progress and we'll set targets for your driving test from day one. This means you always know where you are and roughly how much longer it will take for you to get your driving license.
If you've never driven before, our first driving lesson will involve going through the car controls and setup and then mastering moving off and stopping along a nice quiet road. Once you've taken that first step the rest is easy! I'll be there to help you through it.
If you have driven before then our first driving lesson will be about assessing your current level and setting out an action plan for improving and working towards your driving test.
