Golden Bear Cottages Resort

We took our 3 kids to Big Bear several weeks ago. When we drove by Golden Bear Cottages we just had to stop in! It is the most beautiful place we have ever seen! The Manager was so accommodating and showed us around their huge property. We had an opportunity to see several of their adorable cabins. We decided on a 3 bedroom, 2 bath one and settled in for the night. We loved it so much we stayed 2 more nights! We have been spreading the word about Golden Bear to our friends and family and are actually now planning a huge family reunion for August 2015 at Golden Bear. Our family will be coming from all over the US and wiil probably take all of the cabins for an entire week! We love Golden Bear Cottages and we can't wait to get back!

Our family is looking forward to enjoying Memorial Day holiday at Golden Bear Cottages again this year. It is a perfect way to start the Summer with the family. The cabins are conveniently located on Big Bear Blvd across from the Pleasure Point Marina where you can rent a boat for the day and just 1 mile from the quaint downtown where all the cute shops, restaurants and movie theaters are, we wouldn't stay anywhere else. I've stayed in a quaint and cozy cabin with my hubby that had a cozy wood burning fireplace, we have stayed in a spacious big two story private cabin with our family and I've gone with a very large group for a church retreat. They have cabins for every size family or group. Their largest cabin was huge....seven bedrooms, several bathrooms, 3 floors, and a huge kitchen. The outdoor grounds are beautiful and I love that they have a heated pool and playground for my kids. It's nice to have a place to get away that's affordable and the owners and staff provide all the friendship your heart desires. We have joined their Golden Bear Cottages Mountain Vacation Club because of the great cabin rental values offered and now we will go on vacation even more. We appreciate Golden Bear Cottages.
