Our management team, and more recently instructors, are fully registered with Highfield awarding body so we can instruct the SIA courses and other courses overseen by sector governing bodies.

FS Security management team
Managers
Paul
Paul is the company’s director and offers years of expertise in various fields of security. He is an extremely professional individual who is approachable, dependable and forward thinking. Paul has many years of experience serving within the Armed Forces, having deployed operationally providing various specialism training and working in various demanding roles such as an Infantry soldier, armed close protection, teaching arrest and restraint to various members of the Armed Forces and maritime security. Paul was also instrumental in aiding the training for the support provided by the Armed Forces during the fire fighter strikes within the United Kingdom.
Stephen
Stephen is a former Royal Military Police Officer who has over 16 years’ experience within both the military and civilian security industry, during which he spent 14 years within the RMP serving worldwide and specialising within the Intelligence arena both on an overt and covert capability. His specialties and passion lie within the intelligence and investigation field and also with providing training support. Educated to a MSc Degree level in Security Management and a Law Degree level giving him the title of LLB (Hons)(Open) and various Home Office Approved Crime Reduction and Architectural Liaison qualifications, Stephen brings a versatile wealth of experience to the company.
Stephen recently held a high profile Insider Threat Consultant role during the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics enabling a safe and close working relationship with all external stakeholders. He also provided support to combat the recent usage of illegal masters by a national recruitment company which enabled him to educate and teach the stakeholders various key indicators in this field.
Trevor
Trevor has over 30 years police service covering many varied roles from Investigation, armed protection and then specialising in physical and integrated security measures. He has a vast knowledge and experience in the later field being certified by the Home office as well as security services. He has also been involved in designing and installing security measures for visiting heads of state as well as other VIP’s.
Mark
Mark is a former Royal Marine Commando with over 6 years of experience serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. Mark also has extensive Operational Maritime experience in the South China Sea and the Middle East. Upon leaving the marines, Mark worked for a leading risk management firm as a Project Risk Manager in Afghanistan. As part of the role Mark worked closely with the Afghan Public Protection force and Afghan National Security Forces in overseeing the planning and delivery of operations, contractual compliance and delivery of project training and validation, primarily in Afghanistan. In 2013 Mark changed roles, and took on the Business Development manager role for a tracking, communications and risk consultancy firm, who operate within conflict zones all over the world.
Mark has also immersed himself in continued professional development, gaining a multitude of qualifications including, but not limited to MSc Security Risk Management, Prince 2 (Project Management), HND Security Management and the leading Business development management course, conducted in Ashridge Business School.
Shed
Sheridan has over 30 years’ experience in both the military and civilian security environments. Educated to master’s Degree level in Business Management, Security Management and Facilities Management Sheridan brings a wealth of experience to the company. Sheridan has 26 years’ experience of managing security in the night time economy throughout the UK as well as providing security management to the Further and Higher Education sector. As a teacher Sheridan has trained over 4000 Security Operatives to industry standards and beyond. A consummate professional, within the training sector, Sheridan also delivers and manages accredited and bespoke training across a diverse curriculum for the company and its clients.
Sylvester
Sylvester has also served in the British Army for six years with operational experience (Afghanistan). He has achieved a MSc. in Security Management (merits) and an LLB (Hons). With a combination of military operational experience and academic experience (Law, Management and Security), he has provided sound counsel on various security issues. He has been guest speaker at Cyber Security Conference for the Military and Defence Sectors.
