Photography struck me very young. I remember my father making portraits with his Minolta XD-7, his lenses and his filters. When the film was finished, he rewound it and took it out carefully to prevent exposing it. After a magical process called developing, those scenes that we had lived with row and motion, appeared frozen and silent. They were there, usually on a thick matte rugged paper to endure stoically over the years. Now it's easy to return to those images and remind the stories that caused them and the people involved. It's easy to see the importance of keeping good memories of times that will never return.

That's what I pursue with my reports: memories that tell authentic and everlasting stories.

What else can I say? I love reading, writing, programming, swimming and listening to music, especially jazz, which is where I feel more comfortable.

I always knew that I wanted to see the world in my own way. So I took my compact camera in my early years to experiment, make mistakes and have fun.

I am very shy in regards to getting in front of the lens, so I try to make people I photograph to feel comfortable to get natural results.

Otherwise, I'm a normal person. I like cooking, reading, DIY, b&w film and rainy days in my sofa, with my blanket.
